How JayTechs handles data.
1. Who we are
JayTechs ("we", "us") is a software business based at Plot 1 Canal Side, Bukhtiar Kaki Chowk, Green Town, F&S Food Street, Pakpattan, Punjab, Pakistan. We make and operate JT Flow POS (restaurant point of sale), KW Locker (device-financing enforcement for phones sold on installments) and JGrow (retail POS, website and app). This policy explains what each one collects, why, and what it never does.
2. This website (jaytechs.org)
The website sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. It stores one value in your browser's local storage to remember that you dismissed the notice bar. If you contact us through WhatsApp, phone or email, we hold that conversation to reply to you. Browsing requires no account and sends us no personal information; pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives only the standard technical request needed to serve them. The demo form on the KW Locker page sends its contents to us only when you press the button — nothing is transmitted while you type.
3. JT Flow POS and JGrow
These products are used by businesses to run their own operations. The business that signs up is the owner of the data it enters, including its sales, inventory, orders and customer receipts; we process that data only to run the service for the business and never sell it or use it for advertising. Websites and apps that JGrow generates for a business belong to that business.
- Account and business data — business name, contact details, branch and staff accounts, settings and configuration.
- Operational data — orders, products, sales, stock, attendance, payroll and accounting records the business records to run itself.
- Technical data — device type, app version, logs and usage information needed to keep the service working and to fix faults.
In offline mode this data is held on the business's own device and synchronised to the cloud when connectivity returns.
4. KW Locker
KW Locker is installed, with the buyer's written consent, on an Android phone sold on installments so the phone can be placed in a restricted mode if an installment becomes overdue, and unlocked when it is paid. It is built to take only what enforcement needs.
What KW Locker never does
- No location tracking. The app holds the Android location permission only because the operating system requires it for certain Device Owner functions. The app never reads, stores or transmits the phone's location.
- No personal data collection from the phone. It does not read contacts, messages, photos, call logs, browsing or any app content.
- No remote wipe and no bricking. Restricted mode limits use of the phone; it never deletes the customer's data.
- Emergency calls always remain available in every state.
What the shop records in the KW Locker portal
- The buyer's name, contact number, a photograph and the signed installment agreement — entered by the shop at the time of sale.
- The phone's model, IMEI and enrollment details, so the correct device is managed.
- The installment schedule and payment history.
What the phone reports to the shop
- Enforcement state (active, restricted, unlocked, released), last sync time, app version, battery level and last boot.
- Tamper signals — for example attempts to remove the administrator, toggle Developer Options or USB debugging, a SIM change, or a factory-reset or uninstall attempt — so the shop knows enforcement was challenged. A SIM change reports that a change happened, not the content of any communications.
The shop that financed the phone is responsible for obtaining the buyer's consent and for explaining the agreement before enrollment. When the final installment is paid and the shop releases the device, every policy is removed from the phone.
5. How we use data
To provide and maintain the services, process subscriptions, give support, keep the platform secure, and improve it. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that host and run the platform (cloud hosting, databases and messaging delivery), and where the law requires it. Within KW Locker, information about a financed phone is visible only to the shop or shop group that financed it, according to the roles that shop has set.
7. Retention and your rights
Business data is kept while the account is active and for a short period afterwards to allow recovery, then deleted. KW Locker device records are retained for the life of the loan and the period the shop needs for its own accounts. You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of data we hold by contacting us below. If you are a buyer of a financed phone, the shop that sold it to you is your first point of contact; we will support that request.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled cloud infrastructure. Portal accounts use role-based access, enrollment passkeys and new-device login alerts. No system is perfectly secure; we take reasonable steps appropriate to the data we hold.
